A Time of Sharing

This week’s Sacred Path Card that was pulled for Wednesday Wisdom is the “Pow-Wow” card.  This time of gathering was a “quickening” for the people.  It brought old friends together again where people shared stories of new methods of hunting, fishing, beading, making foods and remedies.  Dreams were discussed and everyone was renewed with a sense of unity.

IMG_20151124_205714401Pow-Wows teach us how to share information with others; there are no secrets or jealousy.  When faced with different ideas, colors, and Traditions, the “Warriors of the Rainbow of Peace” will confront the elements within themselves that might keep them from honoring all paths as one.

The Pow Wow card teaches us how to gather the best of our energies and talents today.  Coming together and sharing information, ideas and stories allows for more healing so we can move forward with our dreams. Think of this time as “labor,” the time preceding birth.  It is not always easy, but by surrounding yourself with others for the needed support, you just might hear the encouraging words that will give you the boost you need to use your gifts that will make this world a better place.
