Who are you…really?

The Sacred Path Card that was pulled for this week’s Wednesday Wisdom is “Painted Face.”  Native Americans placed a lot of emphasis on the development of uniqueness and personal talents. Therefore, it was important for each person to be allowed to express him/herself.  One way to do this was through the “Painted Face.”

painted face cardWhen the Natives painted their faces, it was for war or ceremony.  Each color or design denoted a specific meaning or talent and those gifts were noted by others. Sharing one’s needed talent was Good Medicine as long as one presented his/her true Self.

This card asks us to open up and recognize our talents and worth.  We need to express our feelings, talents, and desires.  This is very healing as well as productive.  It may require us to change the way in which others perceive us. Claim your truth, even if it involves changing your appearance, attitudes and activities.

It is time to let your “Good Medicine” emerge.  Express yourself and be of service by offering your gifts to the world.
